Revver offer an interesting development on the YouTube video share model, with a promise at the outset to share all advertising revenue. Google Music Trends provides a snapshot of what people are listening to, or at least, people who have downloaded Google Talk. It monitors iTunes, Winamp, Windows Media Player and Yahoo Music Engine, and can therefore be thought of as a competitor of Last.fm’s Scrobbler.

We came across this useful site, Widgetbox, which hosts and profiles hundreds of widgets to use on blogs, websites and social networks. The ‘Media’ section contains flash players, podcast tools and shopping carts. See also Springwidgets and Widgetnest.
