See Things Differently
Contentinople have saved us all a lot of trouble by trawling the WWW and discovering & rating 54 (at the last count) online music stores. They provides details on the DRM, the price, the content and an overall rating.
Interesting to see how iTunes 128 compression is beginning to look distinctly old-school and the increasing number of sites selling non-DRM music, proving that lack of Major label content is not necessarily an inhibitor. There are also many stores offering different formats and variable pricing, again, going against the iTunes model and providing more choice for music consumers.
