Virtual Star – An Example Of A Million/Grafik MySpace Re-skin

virtual_starMillion recently partnered with Grafik Media to provide a MySpace re-skin for Virtual Star. The company behind it provide 3D screens in nightclubs and are inviting clubbers to audition for the role of a virtual host. They approached us to build a MySpace site – which didn’t look like a MySpace site – and provide a way for hopefuls to send in videos of themselves. Our solution combined MySpace, video sharing sites and a simple data capture form, since MySpace is a pig for passing over data – try it.

More brands & companies are creating MySpace profiles and are beginning to realise the inherent flaws and restrictions.  It’s sheer scale ensures it remains a priority but the next generation of social networks are starting to make it appear old.
