See Things Differently
I assume this story was released in light of the ‘positive’ fact 65% of event managers now supposedly use Facebook. The software company behind the Poll had therefore responded by building it in to their event management application.
I guess it’s a case of perspective. Frankly, I’m surprised that a third of Event Managers still DON’T use Facebook to promote their event. And that a software company only decided to integrate Facebook & Twitter after repeated requests from clients, like Facebook is some obscure technology?
Is it simply that people don’t realise how big Facebook is? 21m regular users in the UK alone; dwarfing any other form of popular media including TV, radio, magazines and newspapers? Perhaps, the most single most popular media in history? And that to promote an event on it is FREE?
Jeez, I’m grouchy today….
