Lovebox & NME Offer A New Artist Chance To Play On Main Stage

Today, Media Junction has launched a Facebook App for Lovebox to promote their ‘New Band’ collaboration with NME. The Facebook App is part of a search to find a new, exciting artist to play on the main stage at Lovebox 2010 on July 16th. Bands must register on NME’s Breakthrough social network. But, in an innovative use of Facebook Groups, hopeful artists must also register a new group and try to recruit as many members as possible. A judging panel will then decide which 5 artists are put to a public vote, which again, will use Facebook.

Media Junction provided strategy, design and development services. The NME partnership was through Bang On PR.
