Billboard.com Find Ticket Prices Are Too High


A recent survey by Billboard in the US found 72% of people surveyed cite ‘High ticket prices’ as the overwhelming reason for not attending a concert. In their recent Arts Talk survey The Guardian claimed 60% of Londoners thought prices were too high. However, this was only the second highest reason for not attending. Top was ‘I was too busy’. Since the Billboard survey was amongst 19-26 year olds it highlights the difference between age groups, something Promoters should be aware of.
