HelloCotton.com Highlights The Move Towards Niche Social Networking


A few years ago there were dozens of social networks trying to copy Myspace. Virb, iMeem, Haystack plus many more came and were subsequently wiped out by Facebook. However, as Social Networking ‘matures’ there is a rise of niche or themed social networks that focus on a particular subject or, in the case of Hello Cotton, ‘Talented Women’. Started in Paris it now has over 3m members posting blogs and photographs of their business and hobbies.

There is a slight irony in that the two founders both appear to be guys though?
